Course programme

Our resident celebrity chef Beverley Glock will share her passion for making bread by hand. Freshly made bread should use only flour, yeast, salt and water, you don't need any fancy gadgetry just your hands, a bowl and some time. It's amazingly satisfying and delicious.

Beverley will take you through her two 'no knead' methods of making bread and use two different doughs: basic bread dough and olive oil dough. She'll show you how to adapt it to make:

  • foccacia
  • breadsticks
  • flatbread
  • fougasse

The workshop will take place in Princes Risborough from 10.00am-1.30pm.

Quote from a customer who came on the June workshop: "Thank you so much for the bread making lesson today. I thoroughly enjoyed getting my hands stuck in and am inspired to throw out the dough hooks on my mixer once and for all. My very fussy 6 year old gave the fougasse a 9/10 and the crispy flat breads got a full 10/10 (I have hidden the last one from him so I can nibble in peace after he has gone to bed). For my part I loved all the different breads, I honestly didn’t expect to get the chance to try out so many in the time given but full credit to you for keeping us on track and making it all so easy. I will definitely be baking bread (by hand!) again."

Please note: we reserve the right to reschedule workshops in case of illness or minimum bookings not being met. Once booked onto the course the place must be paid for in full and if you are unable to attend we're really sorry but you will not be refunded or be able to transfer to an alternative unless we can find someone else to take your place. Maximum 4 people.
