Brighton Business School is a leading European centre for business, accountancy and management training and education. The school offers a wide range of interesting, award-winning undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. It has built strong links with both local businesses and these companies offer placements to our students and employment to many of them after graduation.We have around 1,500 full-time and 1,000 part-time students and 82 highly qualified academic staff who specialise in fields like accountancy, finance, marketing, purchasing, law, operations management, information technology and operational research, human resource management, corporate strategy and economics.CoursesMany of the school's courses are international in orientation, reflecting the needs of today's business world. We also offer innovative programmes are offered to those wishing to work overseas or for an international organisation in the UK.We have established a strong network of exchange links with a number of other leading European business schools and universities in France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Russia, Spain and Sweden, and have recently set up two new exciting links in the USA and Canada. With students coming from over 20 countries, we are a truly international community.Many of the lecturers have joined the university from senior management positions in industry and are actively involved in research or consultancy work. The school has a growing reputation for its research activities and received a 3A rating in the area of business and management as part of the last UK university research assessment exercise.
