Good ones and dear,
I recommend coming to Britain to take away that 'terrible Spanish accent' that probablemete all have or have had.
I could give you many tips as where to buy clothes or food but I think you'll drink more personal. This is the advice of most weight in my point of view: Do not forget where you come from, and what you come. This involves following our cultures, customs, ways of living and not give up the things we like to do (despite bad weather); and help more Spanish with which we meet along the way. Of course also dive with Brithis.
The following tips will give you is that you propongáis seriously from day to speak English with everyone (I know it's hard) and only utilicéis the Spanish when strictly necessary (to vent or express something deep), then one day without that you realize your mind will start thinking in English and estaréis completely surprised even you soñaréis in this language.
You gather ye also gustillo to British music and that will expedite the process of thinking and 'feel' in English. The best singers for me: Edd Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Dua Lipa, James Arthur.
One last thing, during the stay here, probably think on more than one occasion to return to Spain when you pass wrong, but eventually you will stay longer because you will feel it's worth!
A big hug and encouragement for everyone who may have this opportunity, you know what one regrets more life is what did not.

My experience was fantastic in every way. I was in New York (Empire State) and I found the best choice I could make. The residence was super central but inside the rooms were a bit old, but that was the least of having everything so close was really cool. As for classes the first few weeks were great because we had a very good teacher but then we changed it and it was not so good thing (hence did not put them 5 stars) but I'm sure they were in our account opinions . Also, always give the option to change you if you're not comfortable, something I think is very valuable.
