There are also formative assessments which enable you to receive ongoing constructive feedback and targets. You will be assessed through programme work, based on your classroom experience, showing your ability to plan effectively, to undertake assessment and to develop your subject knowledge. As you progress from observer to teacher in school, you will be assessed through lesson observation reports. Your professional development will be mapped against the Teachers’ Standards (2012) for the award of QTS.
