Course Content
  • Year 1

    Year 1 introduces key concepts and underpinning knowledge of biomedical sciences. Typical areas of study include biomolecules and cells, human physiology, genetics and biochemistry and introductory microbiology.

  • Year 2

    In Year 2 you will focus on a range of specialisms within biomedical science. Typical areas of study may include haematology and transfusion, medical microbiology, histopathology and cytopathology and molecular biology.

  • Year 3

    Your final year focuses on the advanced study of biomedical science. Typical areas of study may include integrated pathology, immunology and immune disorders, biomedical cell biology, genetics, DNA changes and disease.
