This course is ideally suited to learners 16-19 who want to set up and run their own business or social enterprise.

During the course, you will start up and run a fully functioning legal business to develop your entrepreneurial skills. You will also focus on your own self development through the start-up process, and interact with entrepreneurs and business people throughout the course to enable you to learn from experienced professionals.


The mandatory units of the qualification reflect the essential aspects of starting and running a business. Optional units provide choice for specialisms in areas that will develop your understanding of enterprise.
