Introduction:
This is a short advanced level course.

Study Mode & Location:
This five week course will be held at Preston College, St. Vincent's Road, Fulwood, PRESTON, PR2 8UR.

Course Content:
This course will consist of the following topics:

• Week 1 - Dispensing roles and protocols
• Week 2 - Dispensing of prescriptions and portfolio building information
• Week 3 - Checking of prescriptions
• Week 4 - Rectification of errors
• Week 5 - Communication skills

Assessment:
There are no written examinations with the assessment being based on the North West Framework for Dispensing Checking.

Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress to the prestigious Level 4 qualification which will enhance your professional qualifications and future job prospects.

How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
