You will gain an understanding of the care sector and the services available within the health and social care fields. You will also develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective worker in the care sector.
You will cover topics such as:
- communication in health and social care,
- vocational practice in health and social care,
- cultural diversity in health and social care,
- anatomy and physiology for health and social care.
The course includes a work placement that will give you valuable practical experience. It is available for school leavers and adult learners.
