The Edexcel BTEC Level 3 90 – credit Diploma in Business is initially a one year full time course which comprises of a selection of carefully chosen business units (see below for proposed units to be delivered) and work experience. Upon successful completion of this qualification (and with the approval of the Isle of Wight College Exam Board) you could progress to Year 2 Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.

Students should have at least one of the following:

Current Isle of Wight College students must have successfully completed all of their previous course/s including Functional Skills and must have attendance of 87% or higher, evidence of recent academic study, good interpersonal skills, the ability to work with others, a commitment to, or an interest, in a career in the Business sector or Higher Education.

This is an advanced level course designed for people seeking progression within education or into employment in the business vocational sector. For adult learners the BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma can extend your experience of working in a particular sector. It could also be a suitable qualification for those wishing to change career or move into a particular area of employment following a career break.

This course is a full time option and is suitable for students 16 years or above.
