This course concentrates on the individual applications that have become part of everyday life in the commercial world. You will develop an understanding of and practical skills in the field of Information Communication Technology (ILT) including computer systems, uses of ILT, information systems, relational database, Web design and business software applications.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed via coursework and presentations, all units are internally assessed and graded by teachers. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded to all learners who successfully complete all units. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Where can I go after completing this course?
After the successful completion of the course you may choose to go in to take up a career in within the IT industry or progress on to a BTEC National.
