Course Content: This is the ideal course for you if you have an interest in using computers and an appreciation for the contribution they make to doing business more efficiently and effectively,
During the course you will complete various units that will provide you with an understanding of the importance of ICT within the world of business. The units you will be studying during the year include Computer Systems; Uses of IT; Visual Programming and Web Development. You will evaluate a range of application software including Word Processing, Databases, Spreadsheets and Graphics and Desktop Publishers. The course also introduces you to related legislation such as Data Protection and Software Privacy and their importance within the industry.
Special Features: Students have access to the latest Software and Hardware, as well as ongoing support and advice from a well experienced team of staff.
Course Format: Full Time
A variety of teaching methods are used including individual and group work, studying software applications, practical demonstrations, DVDs and visits. These are all supported by our Virtual Learning Environment.
