IT Professionals - Advanced - OCR Level 3 Diploma with CISCO
The qualification has been designed to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in the full range of functions involved in hardware, software and systems installation, software solutions and the production of customer support materials. You will also cover systems support including service delivery, planning and control, the installation of networks and operating systems, the installation and maintenance of applications and the testing of systems.
At the end of the course, in addition to achieving the Level 3 Diploma you will also have completed the CISCO Academy Programme and obtained an award from CISCO.

What will I study?The course is made up of eight units:
· Customer support provision.
· Service delivery, planning and control.
· Hardware/equipment and systems Installation.
· Maintain equipment and systems.
· Network fundamentals.
· Router and routing basics.
· Switching.
· Wide area network technologies.

How is the course assessed?There are no exams. All work is assessed through a series of assignment tasks which will be marked by your tutor and moderated by OCR. In order to achieve the qualification you must pass all eight units.

What could I do next?You can progress on to a university to do a foundation degree in a related subject.
