Course ContentThese courses have been designed to provide a route into, and develop skills in the games industry. From the start you will be designing and developing games and be encouraged to ‘play’, to question the nature of games and express the ideas you formulate through your personal project work. The course provides a strong visual and creative base supported by digital modelling, set within the framework of games development.
Topics on this course include:
Digital graphics
Introduction to 3D games engines
Introduction to 3D modelling
Games design
Concept art for computer games
Computer game story development
Activities include storyboarding and scenario construction
4 GCSEs grade C or above to include English and Mathematics. BTEC Level 2 qualification, NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2
