BTEC First Extended Certificate in Business

This exciting new course develops practical skills and builds knowledge and understanding of a range of areas within the business world such as finance, marketing and human resources. Throughout the course, students are engaged in exciting Enterprise projects which enable them to improve their business skills as well as developing key employability skills such as teamwork and communication. A Student Enterprise Club is also available for students interested in developing this further and accessing support and advice on starting a business. We work closely with the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses to offer all our students the opportunity to gain insightful experience within a working environment. This is a perfect opportunity for them to experience working life within their chosen career path and add to their CV. To help you achieve your future career aspirations, English and maths will also be included within this course.
