This course allows students to explore Art and to gain insight into this creative industry. This 1 year course will give you skills in drawing, painting and sculpture, fashion textiles and graphics.
For your final project you specialise in one of the above.

What will I be doing?
You will focus on drawing, painting sculpture fashion textiles and graphics.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by a portfolio of work that you gather throughout the year, there are no written exams and this assessment will take place 3 times during the year.

Where can I go after completing the course?
After the successful completion of the course you will be able to progression onto a Level 2 course.

MEDIA STRAND
This course allows students to explore Media and to gain insight into this creative industry. This 1 year course will give you skills in photography, graphics, digital story telling and video production this includes camera work and editing. For your final project you specialise in one of the above.

What will I be doing?
You will focus on video production, photography and interactive media.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by a portfolio of work that you gather throughout the year, there are no written exams and this assessment will take place 3 times during the year.

Where can I go after completing the course?
After the successful completion of the course you will be able to progression onto a Level 2 course.
