BTEC Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Martial Arts Kickboxing and Combat Sports Instructor Training
-
This is the highest level of qualification available to Martial Arts and Combat Splrts Instructors and Coaches in the UK. I've just found out (on the first tutorial day) that successful assessment of various units is enough to AUTOMATICALLY PASS up to EIGHT different NVQs, including Personal Training, Leisure Management and Coaching, as well as qualifying you to teach the KeyStage Skills kids now learn in school. Amazing!

Diploma 300 Learning hours
Each entry level is priced according to the learning hours, but full certification of the Diploma award will only be granted upon the successful completion of the full 300 learning hours.
The units are designed to be taught individually but contain material which cross references between the learning outcome, this allows the units to be taught in conjunction with the learning outcomes from associated units. Each unit is specifically structured to meet the requirements of the martial arts and combat sports environment regardless of style, system or association. The course content has been assessed to ensure that the information provided is up to date with legislation and current practices.
All units are tutor driven and will require the learner to engage in individual, small and large group activities. Learners will also be required to develop their computer literacy skills and will be provided with multiple opportunities to work towards Key Skill stages and additional qualifications.
At no time will MAT deny access or enrolment in the course due to a person’s association or style. The course will benefit all experience levels from beginner to senior instructors and coaches. For senior instructors the potential to enrol upon the course for experiential learning will be assessed on an individual basis, where this is endorsed by MAT the individual will be informed of the requirements and their responsibilities.
