The Pearson Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNC in Construction and the Built Environment provides a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the Building Services Engineering sector and also offers particular emphasis through the choice of specialist units.

· Who is it intended for?

The 2-year course offers a progression route for electricians, plumbers, and air-conditioning technicians, working in domestic and commercial settings. The course is relevant to those wanting to progress to design or leadership positions and those who want to go on to degrees.

· Requirements

The course requires you to have a Level 3 qualification in electrical, plumbing and air-con/refrigeration. The course requires good English and Maths skills. Mature students with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience but without Level 3 qualifications can be individually assessed. They will need to attend an assessment interview before course registration.
