About this course
In order to qualify for this course students will need; *A BTEC First Certificate or Diploma in related subject (at least a merit), Or *At least four GCSE's at grades A*-C, which may include Art, Textiles, Graphics, 3D design, Design Technology.

What will I study?

How can I progress?
A BTEC National Diploma prepares students for employment and provides a good grounding to progress onto more advanced courses such as a Foundation Degree, BA (Hons) Degree in one of the following subject areas: Graphic design, Product Design, Illustration, Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, Packaging Design, Architectural Design and Computer Aided Design.

Course Structure
Whilst studying the qualification learners will engage in the following areas of study: *Graphic Design, *Packaging Design, *Exhibition Design, *Corporate Identity, *Drawing for Industry. During the two years learners will develop their creative skills and compile a competent design portfolio that will evidence a range and variety skill base, using the following design programmes; *Adobe Illustrator, *Adobe Photoshop, *AutoCAD, *Sketch-Up.
