BTEC National Diploma in Graphics
Level 3 St Paul's Campus 2 Years Full Time

This course is designed for learners who'd like to explore all aspects of Graphic Design from traditional design and page layout through to web site design and image manipulation. Areas of study include photography, illustration, typography, packaging, advertising, editorial design, corporate identity, ideas generating and thinking, printmaking, and computer graphics. Learners will have the opportunity to negotiate, write and realise a personal Final Major Design Project that they will undertake alone, and this project will form the basis of their own personal showcase, as part of the School of Creative Arts Summer Show. The department has been very successful in engaging with employers and organisations who often commission live client led briefs for learners to work upon.
There will be opportunities to visit overseas destinations each year of the course. Homework and private study is required.

Progression
Success at this level allows learners to consider direct progression onto our highest level Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design or to apply to study a degree at university or seek employment
