· Course Overview: · The BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care is an 18 unit practical work-related course. Learning occurs through the completion of projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. The National Diploma is the equivalent of 3 A levels and is a 2 year full time course. The BTEC National Diploma provides much of the underpinning knowledge for National Occupational Standards, and enables progression to higher educational vocational qualifications or into work
