The aim of this course is to enable practising electricians and others, operating in the domestic environment, to gain an understanding of how electrical installation in domestic dwellings must comply with all the relevant Building Regulations. Suitable for: The course is for any operative who is involved in the installation of domestic electrical systems who wishes to join ELECSA "Part P" Full Scope Competent Person Scheme.

About the Course
This course covers the additional areas that are applicable for those moving from the defined scope package into additional areas including special locations, new domestic circuits, domestic lighting circuits, maintaining domestic installations and 3 phase supplies. Combined with the defined scope package this can be used to join the ELECSA "Part P" Full Scope Competent Persons Scheme.
Qualified Supervisors are individuals who have demonstrated competence through their qualifications, knowledge and experience of the building regulations and supervising/undertaking electrical installations to BS 7671.
Part P Qualified Supervisor is a qualification that covers the additional areas. The course will cover special locations, new domestic circuits, domestic lighting, maintaining domestic installation and 3 phase supplies in addition to the Defined scope.
Assessment and Quality Assurance
The course and assessment cover all the 17 competence areas as listed in the guidance document.
