The HNC Building Studies will give you broad and balanced knowledge of the design, function, construction and statutory requirements for buildings. You'll develop your practical skills in construction technology and sustainability, health and safety, quantity surveying, and project and risk management.

The course combines high-level academic study with practical elements. It enables you to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Possible roles following graduation include contracts manager, property manager, building contractor, project manager and construction manager.

The course is offered by one of the university's partner colleges, London South East Colleges, on its Bexley Campus.
