Burlesque: advanced

Perform burlesque fan dance and striptease with confidence and assurance.Devise your own burlesque performance using fans and/or stripteaseBe developing a good repertoire of burlesque choreography, moves and techniqueBe developing a stronger sense of your own burlesque persona, style and creativity.

Fan dance fans are PROVIDED . You will need warm up kit, heels, stocking and other basic elements of costume, no specialist equipment or clothing is required.

Class time will be divided equally between taught elements and student led devising. Taught elements will largely be in whole group or small group configuration; each student will have one-to-one guidance from the tutor on their devised work. You will be expected to rehearse and develop your work between classes.HEALTH CHECKYou may or may not be asked to participate in rigorous activity from time to time.
