Business (Extended Diploma)

Course content Over the two years you will gain a practical understanding of how businesses organise themselves, studying areas including the business environment, planning, business accounting and finance, human resource management, marketing and retail. You will also examine how businesses market their products and services, how they recruit and develop their staff, how and why they conduct market research, and how they communicate. Although there is no specific work experience unit, students have the opportunity to go on placements during the second year of the course.
