Course outline
Business Studies will introduce you to the dynamic business environment and the importance on entrepreneurial activity in creating business opportunities and sustaining business growth. You will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of essential skills required for higher education and employment.
The subject content enables you to investigate different types and sizes of organisations in various business ectors and environments, drawing on local, national and global contexts. You will develop a holistic understanding of business and enterprise and be aware of the opportunities and threats of operating in a global marketplace.

Don’t worry about the cost of learning! We can help and advise you. For 16-18 year-olds, your tuition will be free and you may be able to get discounted travel with Transport for London student travel cards. 19+: Adults on many courses are eligible for Government funding for some or all of the fee. Adults aged 19-23 are eligible for Government funding up to and including their first full level 3 qualification, and after that they may access an Advanced Learner Loan to cover tuition fees if the course is loan-fundable. Adults aged 24+ on a level 3+ course may take out an Advanced Learner Loan to cover tuition fees if the course is loan-fundable. If you do need to pay a fee, the College offers a number of ways to pay and can also advise you about financial support available to you. How do I enrol? For 16-18 year old students main enrolment is the day when GCSE results are released (August). However, early enrolment does take place during the summer. Student success Our students love studying here! 100% of our students completed this course. What's the time commitment Day, 9am-4pm. There are some subjects that may be taught as twilight classes (i.e.) from 5pm to 8pm, if so, students are made aware of this before the start of term. Where do I go?
