The objective of the combined course is to cover both Lan/Wan environments from data communications through to telco and WDM. Throughout the course you will have 70% hands on, covering all aspects of installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting etc. You will cover jointing cables both internal and external network testing in a Lan environment, Wan environment, fault finding. Course programme
This course is a combine course covering both internal & external and is a mainly 75% hand on practical you will learn how to prepare external joint enclosure, Splice trays, ODF's wall mounted enclosures. You will also learn and practice cabling pulling into enclosure, External enclosures fully prepare cables in a real world environment, including gel filled, tight buffered, loose tube.
You will carry out various splicing methods mechanical & fusion splicing, the emphasis has been placed on what you would be expected to carry out on site, you will also carry out network testing using OTDR's, ILM test kits, OPM's & light sources.

Comments: Classes are kept to a maximum of 8 students per course, so each student gains maximum exposure and experience whilst on the course.
