Course Description:
The course is an introduction to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and is suitable for both those who are currently teaching and those intending to teach in the sector.

Description Breakdown:
The course is divided into five sections:
•Understanding the role, responsibilities and boundaries of the teacher in the LSS
•Understanding teaching and learning approaches in the specialist area
•Session planning and preparation
•Delivering inclusive and motivating sessions
•Assessment and recording progress

The course has two main assignments one practical and the other theoretical. Both parts of the assessment must be successfully completed to achieve the award.
