CACHE LEVEL 1 DIPLOMA IN CARING FOR CHILDREN

The course will give you an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to care for children. You will learn how to manage and support needs of children (e.g. nutritional needs), their learning and development, children’s growth, Health and Safety and safeguarding. The course looks at the influences on a child’s development and gives you the skills to provide effective play and practical activities in a range of Early Years’ services. You will also look at group childcare organisations as well as the home care environment.
