This 3 hour Christmas workshop has been specifically designed as a festive introduction to Christmas cake decorating. We deliver this workshop at beginner level so our students can experience and gain confidence with a range of techniques and skills for decorating a beautifully festive and fun Christmas cake
Introducing new ideas, it would also be suitable for those having attended the basic or intermediate cake decorating courses
This workshop covers:
- How to cover a fruit cake and board with marzipan and sugar paste.
- The art of crimping.
- Modelling characters.
- Making a Christmas rose
- Putting a celebration cake together with the finishing touches!

Special Requirements
Each person will be expected to provide 1 fruit cake - (6-8 Inches)
Each person will take home their fully decorated Christmas cake and a Christmas cake topper.
Additional Equipment - Students will be expected to bring their own equipment or purchase some tools prior to attending the course as well as bringing materials and ingredients.

You will need to bring an apron/overall for all sessions. Please feel free to bring your own camera along to take photographs of the tutor demonstrations and your own handy work on the night!
