  • I came to Manchester because I think that is one of the most developed cities in UK for business. I studied 4 weeks at Bookingenglish because I want to improve my vocabulary and my listening. I lived at homestay and they were very gentle . They make me felt as a member of their family. In the school the teachers are always available for every request and they helped me to reach my goals. I really liked the way in which we had lessons and my college mates were very good.

One of the best things about Bookingenglish is that you can make friends from over the world. Also I visited almost everywhere around Manchester like Liverpool, Chester or Sheffield.

Also the location of the school is in the city center in Manchester, so we can go to anywhere we want easily. And inside of the school is really clean and they have new technology.

This course equips students with the necessary skills to successfully pass a Cambridge examination (Preliminary, First, Advanced or Proficiency). Cambridge examinations are useful for higher level students who require a widely recognised certificate of general competence for employment or study purposes.

Course programme

15 hours of Cambridge exam preparation classes: lesson content covers all sections of the Cambridge exams and focuses on exam strategies and techniques, as well as general language skills.

Students also have the option of one or both of the following modules:
  • 5 hours of General English Communication Skills: Lesson content focuses on developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, and allows students to use their language knowledge in a practical way.
  • 5 hours of Cambridge preparation: lesson content covers all sections of the Cambridge exams and focuses on exam strategies and techniques. This programme is full time, minimum of 15 hours and is provided as both a stand alone programme and a Skills Module within our English Pathways programme.
  • All Cambridge syllabuses have been carefully-designed and structured to ensure students make maximum progress throughout their course. A number of course books, along with practice exam material, are used over the programme, all of which are carefully-selected to ensure that students benefit from a range of quality study material. We also ensure to include special activity material and authentic materials such as news articles in order to further develop students language skills.
