Practical Driving Test
The practical driving test takes place at the Driving Standards Agency test centre under the supervision of their examiner.

The test lasts approximately 40 minutes including on the road driving, reversing exercises and emergency stop exercises.

At the end of the test the examiner will issue a pass certificate or a breakdown of areas for attention, before attempting a re-test.

Pass Plus
To be taken within 12 months of passing the practical driving test.

This DSA designed course consists of 6 practical sessions, which cover driving in town, on rural roads, dual carriageways, motorways and the training will be in all weathers and also at night.

The main aims of this course are to make you a more skilled, safer and confident driver. We do this by teaching you how to cope with hazards and road and traffic situations under expert tuition, so you can plan, anticipate and deal with them safely.

There is no formal test as you will be continually assessed on each of the 6 modules.
