What will I study?
This course involves attending College for one day per week.
Study covers a number of elements including:

• NVQ Level 3, Level 3 Diploma (combination of practical
  and theory work)
• Functional Skills
• Health and Safety
• Employer Rights and Responsibilities

On successful completion an Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate
will be awarded which is a nationally recognised qualification
accepted by the construction industry.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need a Carpentry Apprenticeship Certificate. You will
also need to take an assessment test, attend a college interview
and be employed as a carpenter.
What can I do next?
This can lead to supervisory jobs or higher qualifications
within the industry. It is also an excellent route to
self-employment.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
