Carpentry and Joinery NVQ Level 1

Is this course for me?
This course consists of a one day per week programme involving
practical and theoretical study one day a week. You will also study
for a Health and Safety Certificate.
What can I do next?
This can lead to a Carpentry and Joinery NVQ Level 2. The course
can also lead to employment in construction companies, local
authority maintenance teams and in small firms.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be employed in the trade to enable work-based
assessments to be carried out. The full qualification cannot be
achieved without regular work experience. You must also attend an
interview and initial assessment.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply
