Ceroc Jive - beginners

Your Course
Ceroc is the fastest growing modern partner dance in the UK and is a funky fusion of Jive and Salsa which is easy to learn, sociable, fun and can be danced to any style of music. Clothing - wear whatever you like, casual or smart dress. It helps to have leather or smooth soles shoes, but not trainers.
There is no need to bring a partner as everyone will be moved around during the classes. So come along, on your own, with a partner or with friends
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course you will have had the opportunity to:
· Learn Ceroc beginners' moves
· Learn some basic footwork
· Learn how to link moves during freestyle
· Learn spins and turns
· Learn to form stunning dance routines
Your Tutor
Emma Jarvie has been dancing for 8 years and started her dancing career with ballet, tap and modern but having discovered Ceroc now dances 2 or 3 times a week, demonstrating regularly in front of up to 100 people. She is a member of the Ceroc Teachers Association which involves intensive training over a lengthy period.
Day and time: Thursday 7.45 - 9.15
Start date: 21 January

Tuition fees:£45
Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.
Half term:
Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
