This course is run EXCLUSIVELY by A Bond Therapies Training and has proven to be a very popular course providing students with a fabulous skill to attract those clients who want more than a superficial massage!
On successful completion of this course, you will be able to perform a deeply relaxing and therapeutic massage to loosen tight and aching muscles using Aromatic Oils to enhance the effects. You can start your own business straight away and offer this fantastic massage to clients and use pre-blended aromatherapy oils too. This will set you apart from the rest!

The course suits beginners and students who are put off by longer courses with intensive exams. Beauty Therapists, Nurses, Physiotherapists and Carers are also welcome.
(This course can be taken as an Introductory course at a reduced fee for those wishing to only use it on friends and family. You will only be required to attend Day 1).
Business opportunities are varied. Many therapists travel to clients in their homes, and others work from home or in salons. It is a wonderful opportunity for those who would like to be self-employed, working to fit round family commitments, or to work alongside an existing job.

During the two days students will learn how to massage the feet, legs, hands, arms back and neck and complete written homework. The majority of class time on this course is spent concentrating on the practical massage.
Day 1 of the course will be all 'hands on'. Students will learn how to perform the massage on a fellow student and will receive the massage. Students will work on different classmates throughout the course which will enable them to treat a variety of different clients appropriately.
On Day 2 students will practice your massage techniques and then demonstrate a complete Aromatic Swedish Body Massage which your tutor will assess. On successfully completing the practical assessment and homework, you will be awarded the school Diploma and will be able to attain membership and insurance in order to work on clients. The homework can be completed in your own time and posted to the school for marking. There is no time limit so there is no pressure!
In the unlikely event that you fail to successfully reach the required standard, you may return after a period of further practice and be reviewed. The fee for a review is £40. In this instance you will be required to supply your own model.
Advice and tips on starting and running a successful business will also be given and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
If you have a condition that may affect you giving or receiving the massage, you must seek advice from your G.P prior to enrolling on this course. Such conditions include pregnancy, high blood pressure, epilepsy, skin conditions etc. If you are unsure, please contact the school for advice prior to enrolling as all students are required to fully participate in the giving and receiving of the massage.
It is recommended that all students purchase the book 'An Introductory Guide to Massage' by Louise Tucker - RRP £12.50 (ISBN 190334803X) from your local bookstore. This will help you complete your homework.
