Course Overview
This Award aims to introduce interpersonal skills for use in work or relationships, raises awareness of how interpersonal skills can to be used and how they can enhance relationships. It also gives an understanding of ethical issues, increased self-awareness and aids personal development.

Course Structure
The programme is delivered over 10 weeks, for one day per week on a Thursday 2.30pm 5.30pm.

Topics covered will include:

• Understanding interpersonal skills
• Developing interpersonal skills

Qualification Aims
Introduce interpersonal skills for use in work or personal relationships. Raise awareness of how interpersonal skills are used and how they can enhance relationships. Give an understanding of the ethical use of interpersonal skills. Increase self awareness and aid personal development.

Assessments/Examinations
Assessment will be made using:

• On-going assessment of work
• A portfolio of evidence
• Internal Verification of portfolio
