Assessment: Assessment of theoretical knowledge is by externally set and marked computer based, multiple-choice exams for each of the five technical subject areas. Learner progress and development of practical skills is monitored by continuous assessment methods.
Progression Routes: Main progression route is on to the Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - Level 3 qualification. Main career aim is employment in Vehicle Repair Industry, leading to Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester status.
