About this course
All trainees must be over 17 years of age and in good health. Persons with certain ailments or on certain medication may not be able to take part in the practical sessions. Ability to work at heights is essential. First Aid qualification recommended.

Separate practical assessment with questions (about 2 - 3 hours) on a day following the end of the course - the application process normally take between 2 & 4 weeks but can be arranged sooner in some cases

What should I bring to the course?
This course involves NO chainsaw use and can be completed prior to units CS30 or CS31. As a stand-alone unit for tree inspectors, bat workers, etc. This course must be completed prior to CS39, CS40 or CS41
Work gloves, workboots, 2 passport photo`s. Chainsaw PPE may be worn for this course to help prepare candidates for the CS39 course(
