Course comprises of theory and practical tuition carried out at either the Academy or your workplace with assignments completed as home study.
You will learn to give the most beneficial electrical treatments to the clients’ body and face. This course will include on how to diagnose and treat different skin types and conditions. You will be shown how to use galvanic, faradic, vacuum suction and how to deep cleanse the skin. A pressure point scalp massage is also taught as well as lymphatic drainage. This is a professional and profitable treatment available for male and female clients.

Candidates wishing to achieve this qualification will need to build a portfolio of evidence containing written, practical assessments, assignments, workbooks & all other relevant underpinning knowledge and written paper to be submitted to awarding body
Day 1 & 2 - Practical Skills on Facial and Body Electrotherapy:
Introduction to course work health and safety, setting up work area, contra-indications, consultation and practical skills on full treatment, post treatment advice and contra-actions
Day 3: Review of skills development through practical observation/formative assessment, action planning and theory individual portfolio building throughout the course all ranges must be completed at formative stage
On completion of self study work books & case studies etc. students will return** for practical and written assessments/exams and submission of portfolio.
