What will I study?
Development 0-16 years; keeping children safe; the role of the practitioner; how to promote an healthy environment; play, learning and education;
caring for children; Nutrition; care of sick children; curriculum core subjects.

Study Visits
The course operates with alternate weeks in college and on work placement throughout the two years.

The course offers visit to various places that are unit- specific and professionally relevant.

Assessment
There are 12 units of assessment. These are written assignments, research or examination- based.
There are three examinations on your work throughout the 2 years.

This course is equivalent to 4 AS Levels and carries UCAS points for entry into university. It will enable you to work full-time as a qualified Nursery Practitioner.
