Who is the course for?
This NVQ is aimed at candidates working in a supervised capacity in face to face roles with children and families.

What is the course about?
There are nine units in total, 5 Mandatory and 4 Optional
Develop and promote positive relationships (Mandatory)
Develop and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment for children (Mandatory)
Promote children's development (Mandatory)
Reflect on and develop practice (Mandatory)
Protect and promote children's rights (Mandatory)

Will I need anything else?
LSC funded subject to status and locality with course fees of 550.

How long & often do I attend?
Start Date: Throughout the year.

How will I be assessed?
A Riverside College Halton assessor visits your place of work on a regular basis to support and conduct work based assessments.

What opportunities will this lead to?
Successful candidates may wish to progress onto a higher level NVQ depending on their job role.
