Esther Hargittai
Tutor
Esther Hargittai was born in Hungary and emigrated to Israel at the age of 16. She has been immersed in music since the tender age of six, going through primary and secondary schools specializing in music and in 1995 graduating in Choir Conducting and Music Education at the prestigious Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She is a professional staff member of the British Kodaly Academy (BKA), actively participating in their various musicianship courses teaching choir conducting and solfege.

Course Details
This course is an opportunity for all those who wish to learn choir conducting step by step from the beginning with plenty of practice on live music; also an opportunity for improving your own skills in order to become a better choir conductor.The course is also designed to provide some methodology and useful tips for choirs, especially children’s choirs.
Above all the goal is to provide you with an inspiring and stimulating experience that will give you new energies and a different view on choir conducting!
Times and Dates:
The course will take place once a week beginning on the 15 th of September 2009, will take place on Tuesday’s evenings from 6.45‐8.45 for three terms.
Term dates are:
Autumn 2009: 14 September12 - December(Half term week commencing Mon 26 October)
Spring 2010: 11 January – 27 March (Half term week commencing Mon 15 February)
Summer 2010: 19 April 10 - July (Half term week commencing Mon 31 May)
