At the end of the course the participants will leave with a decorated Christmas Cakes and have learned how to cover the cake with sugarpaste icing to achieve a smooth finish along with various sugarpaste and royal icing decorating techniques. Suitable for: All abilities, from beginners upwards. For anyone who wants inspiration and guidance to ice and decorate their Christmas cake to make it look amazing.
About this course
Bring along an 8 inch Fruit Cake already covered in marzipan ready for covering in sugarpaste and decorating, alternatively we can provide you with a cake for an additional charge of £25.

Course review:
The course will start with covering your cake in sugarpaste and then focus on modelling Christmas figures using sugarpaste and piping work with royal icing. You can bring along your own design and ideas or you can use some of ours.
You will need to bring your own 8" round fruit cake with you already covered in marzipan, alternatively we can provide a cake for an additional charge of £25, if you would like this option please request this in the comments section before you confirm your order. Cake boards and all the decorating equipment and icing will be provided.
