Health and Safety in the Workplace
Everybody has a legal and moral role to play in the Health and Safety of their workplace. The right knowledge and attitude helps ensure that safe systems and methods of working are practised.
This 1 day, Level 2 course, provides an introduction to both employees and employers on Health and Safety issues and how to reduce risks in the workplace. This course replaced Foundation Health and Safety.
The topics covered during the course include:
- legislation
- health, safety and welfare
- the workplace and equipment
- risk assessment
- manual handling
- hazardous substances
- transport and vehicles
- noise and vibration
Candidates will be required to pass a 30 Question Multiple Choice paper to receive the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Level 2 Award for Health and Safety in the Workplace.
