This qualification is designed to enable employers to assess risk and put in place suitable control measures. This will ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public. It is applicable in any private or public sector environment. Suitable for: This course is primarily intended for managers and supervisors however anyone who has a responsibility for general risk assessment in the workplace. All levels of employees and employers. Course programme

This is a two day course where on day one you will learn through practical based lectures the principles of occupational health and safety risk assessment and how to apply this in the workplace. The course will take you to level two level of competence.

Equipment or Materials needed for the course will be supplied and this will include a comprehensive textbook issued by CIEH
Assessment Details: There is a practical assessment that the delegate will undertake in their own workplace, if no workplace is available one will be provided for you. After passing the examination in approximately 8 weeks you will receive a CIEH Certificate Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment. This certificate will be valid for three years.
