You will have at least 4 GCSEs at grade C. At least THREE must be from : English Language or Literature/Humanities (History,Geography,RS,Sociology,Psychology)/Business/Science (Core and Additional OR triple)/Maths. Alternatively you will have a DISTINCTION in a Level 2 Diploma OR an NVQ2 OR a CACHE Cert.

This qualification is designed for those who would like to get a taster for the area of marketing and be exposed to some of the fundamental concepts of the marketing mix and developing customer relationships. This course is avialable only to those taking part in the College's Marketing Academy.

Unit 1: What is Marketing? The importance of Marketing. To consider the role of marketing. Role of marketing as a service provider. Basic understanding of the internal and external marketing environment. Marketing mix.
Unit 2: Understanding Customer Relationships Understanding customers to support long term loyalty. Developing internal and external relationships - networking, collaboration and cooperation. Tactical communciation and customer service support. Know and understand their customers.
