This course of study is for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the Travel & Tourism industry, including such areas of employment as airlines, travel agents, tour operators, visitor attractions and any customer service environment. The Diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels. The structure of the course is made of three official certificates and therefore it is essential these are passed allowing progression during the course. An overseas visit is usually undertaken within the course. The visit enables learners to generate evidence for units such as 'Overseas Representative, Presentation and Training Skills and Resolving Emergencies and Problems in Tourism Destinations'. It is expected that ALL learners will take part in this visit. (Approximate costs can be advised at interview). Some financial support may be available toeligible learners. Homework or private study is required.
