Course Content:
You will study the following. Electrotechnical Safety, systems of working, safe practices, occupations in the industry; Drawings, diagrams, Electrical data and interpreting them; Science principles - electrical conductors, insulators, resistance magnetism, energy, power, calculations; Electrical principles - ac and dc theory, single and polyphase systems; Electrical circuitry, power factor, materials and components; Tools, plant and equipment; Electrical applications - overcurrent, fault protection, shock protection, earthing, types of wiring and supply systems.

If you are looking for a career in the electrical industry then this course would be suitable for you. The course is theoretical and practical and is suitable for those working in the electrical industry or less experienced people wanting to gain knowledge and experience in this field. Assessments are on-line City & Guilds multi choice and assignments testing practical skills and knowledge.
