Course Content:
The practical assessment of portable appliance testing and application of the IEE Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

You will need your own copy of the Codes of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (ISBN: 978-0-86341-833-4) before you start the course. You can get this from good bookshops such as Waterstones Booksellers Ltd, W H Smith or on-line at Amazon.co.uk and the cost is approximately £35.00. As the course is only 2 weeks, you will need to be entered for registration and final assessment and have paid your tuition and examination fees in full 2 weeks before you start the course. Assessment is by multiple choice City and Guilds on-line exam.

Progression:
Successful students can progress to City and Guilds 2377-001 Management of Portable Appliance Maintenance (PAT).
