The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to carry out a full body massage. The skills developed by the learner include: communication skills, organisation skills, the ability to work unsupervised, how to adapt techniques according to the situation, the ability to plan and promote services and advise on aftercare products. Suitable for: This mode of training is designed for learners who have already undertaken some form of beauty therapy or holistic therapy training. The contact hours are reduced and the concentration is on developing the practical skills required. Learners will be directed to study at home building upon the knowledge previously acquired. Learners should be expected to complete additional home study each week in order to complete the assignments.

Assessment
This unit will be assessed by an assignment covering practical skills and underpinning knowledge
You will need to provide pens / pencils and paper and towels.
Smoking is not permitted on the premises or before attending classes or carrying out treatments.

For City & Guilds courses you are required to attend an informal interview to ensure selection of the most appropriate course. You can arrange an interview by contacting us either by telephone or e-mail, alternatively return the booking form, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable time. To secure the place, a deposit is required. Once the interview has taken place the booking fee is non-refundable. Payment may be spread over the duration of the course by setting up a standing. There is a £25.00 administration charge made for this facility. Credit cards are accepted and will incur a 2% surcharge, debit cards will incur 35p surcharge.
Training must be paid for in full once training has commenced even if the course is not completed.
